Ashtanga Yoga is the system of yoga preserved and transmitted by its great exponent, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. It is designed to purify the body and still the mind. The practice is characterized by Vinyasa, the precise coordination of movement with breath from posture to posture.
Morning Mysore Practice
Sun, 7 - 9am (last start 7:45am)
Mon to Thu, 6 - 8:30am (last start 7:15am)
Evening Mysore Practice
Mon to Thu, 4:30 - 6:30pm (last start 5:15pm)
Led Primary Series
Fri, 6 - 7:30am (please arrive a few minutes early)
Fri, 5 - 6:30pm
First Sunday of each month, 7-8:30am
We encourage anyone interested in learning the practice to come observe a class first. This usually answers most questions. Times to observe are Mon-Thurs morning between 6:30-8:00am and Mon–Thurs evening between 4:30–6pm. Note: We do not offer trial classes.
